Jordan Poyer Visits Paralyzed Bills Fan In Hospital
Just when we thought we were done writing about Bills wins and Jordan Poyer acts of kindness…he does it again!
As we reported yesterday, Poyer invited Logan Neri and his family to yesterday’s game vs. the New York Jets and brought him on to the field after the game. After Neri wrote a letter to Poyer about the bullying he was facing, Poyer surprised Neri at school and talked about life with him.
Today, Hope Rises Network – a global publication that spreads hope and goodwill, and works to support many causes – shared another act of kindness that #21 did today.
Hope Rises reported a story last week about Gabby, a young girl who was hit and paralyzed by a drunk driver. Gabby is a major fan of the Bills and while still in the hospital, she watches games with her Bills gear. Kate Glaser of Hope Rises sent out a call to action to send cards to her room, and to help raise money for a wheelchair accessible van.
And then, like we’ve seen him do repeatedly, he did. Poyer heard of Gabby’s story and visited her in the hospital. Today’s Hope Rises' post shows Poyer – and Gabby – smiling widely, happy to be in each other’s presence.
Stay tuned for more Jordan Poyer and Buffalo Bills acts of kindness, because we know with these guys, the community rallying will surely continue.
