Three Homes Sell for Over $1 Million in Western New York
In the space of 90 minutes, a trio of homes all sold for more than $1 million - giving Erie County 36 private residences this year that have sold for more than the key $1 million benchmark.
According to filings made late July 11 in the Erie County Clerk’s office, the sales involved homes in Buffalo, Clarence, and Orchard Park.
The deals:
• 70 Oakland LLC paid $1,18 million for a circa 1900-era house at 70 Oakland Place in Buffalo’s Delaware District.
The 3,880-square-foot house had been owned by Annmarie Maxwell.
• Local resident Robert Prince was involved in the other two transactions.
In the first deal, Price sold his four-bedroom, 5,077-square-foot house at 5035 Goodrich Road in Clarence. The deal included a neighboring vacant lot at 5039 Goodrich Road.
Iroquois Realty Corp. bought the properties, paying $1.4 million, according to county clerk office records.
Prince then paid $1.65 million for a six-bedroom, 8,584-square-foot house at 18 Rock Dove Lane in Orchard Park.
The house, built in 1998, had been owned by Mark and Melissa. Barfoot.
In a separate deal, which closed on July 12, Deer Valley Development LLC paid $1.4 million for three vacant parcels along Deerview Court and Goodrich Road in Clarence, buying them from Jack Devere Development Inc.
