1-  The cool air is here in Western New York and we will see plenty of lake-effect rain and snow over the next 48 hours. We will see the rain start to taper off this morning leaving us with some dry time this afternoon. The rain and possible snow return later tonight and overnight into Tuesday morning. That rain and wet snow will continue tomorrow night into Wednesday as well. Today’s high will be around 51 with the low tonight in the mid to upper 30s.

2 - The Buffalo Bills are gearing up for Monday Night Football tonight. They are looking to snap a 2 game-losing streak where the offense wasn’t playing the best. QB1 Josh Allen said the team needs to continue to spread the ball around and get Dawson Knox more involved in the games. The Bills take on the Jets tonight and you can watch the game locally on WKBW Channel 7

3 - It was a good weekend for the Buffalo Sabres as they got their first win of the season over the defending Stanley Cup Champs the Florida Panthers on Saturday. The Sabres started the season 0-3 and after the win, Head Coach Lindy Ruff said there was some relief with the win. Up next for the Sabres is a road game down in Pittsburgh on Wednesday night.

4-Today kicks off the Fall edition of Buffalo Restaurant Week. Over 50 different restaurants are taking part and this is the week you are encouraged to try something new. Each location taking part in Restaurant Week will be offering a special menu to showcase what they have to offer. Buffalo Restaurant week goes until Sunday.

5 - Honda has issued a massive recall that will have an impact on thousands of drivers here in Western New York. The recall is for certain Honda and Acura 2022-2025 models. It involves issues with the gear box which could impact steering and handling. The recall includes Honda Civics, CR-Vs, and Acura Integras.

6 - Buffalo Mayor Bryon Brown said this week will be his last week as mayor. He is expected to step down tomorrow or Wednesday. He is leaving to take the CEO role at Western Regional Off-Track Betting. Buffalo City Common Council President Chris Scanlon will take over as acting mayor until next November.
