Two Major Investments Could Come to East Buffalo
Two East Side Buffalo projects could spark more than $11 million in new investments in the city.
Plans include a doubling of manufacturing and warehouse operations along James E. Casey Drive and the construction health services building.
Both are up for review during the July 29 Buffalo Planning Board meeting.
The projects are:
• Hanss Supply Inc., a rigging and heavy-lifting contractor with roots dating back to 1930, is proposing to build a 56,500-square-foot warehouse and manufacturing center that will adjoin the company’s existing 55,000-square-foot facility at 55 James E. Casey Drive.
The project carries a $5 million development price tag.
Construction is expected to start later this year.
• Endeavor Health Services wants to build a two-story, 16,000-square-foot community services center on a series of lots at the corner of Broadway and Goodyear Avenue.
The $6 million project will see Endeavor acquire existing properties at 1418 Broadway and 12 Goodyear Avenue.
It already was named designated developer for parcels at 1420, 1424, 1428 and 1430 Broadway and 16, 18, 22, 24 Goodyear Avenue.
Construction, pending various city approvals, could also start later this year or by early 2025.
