5 Property Sales and New Self Storage in Western New York

A quintet of properties - all housing locations for Big Four Northeast Cleaners - have been sold.

Investors MCL716 Enterprises LLC paid $517,500 for the properties, buying them from Terrence Lee, according to May 20 filings in the Erie County Clerk's office.

The deal was for the real estate only.

The locations are:
• 4 Clinton St., Tonawanda
• 99 Niagara St., Tonawanda
• 2181 Niagara Falls Boulevard, Amherst
• 743 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo
• 2482 Elmwood Ave., Tonawanda.

In other real estate/development news:
• A proposed self-storage center that has been under review in the Town of  Amherst has finally gained a key approval.

The Amherst Planning Board, on May 16, approved a proposal by 416 Homez Inc. to develop a 70,789-square-foot self-storage center on a vacant parcel at 2495 Wehrle Dr. The project was first proposed to the planning board in January but met with a series of questions from board members and nearby residents.

Construction on the $8 million project is expected to start this summer.
