A Delaware Park neighborhood house that dates back to the Pan-American Exposition era has become the 59th Erie County private residence to sell for more than $1 million.

The house, located at 14 Lincoln Parkway, sold for $1.575 million, according to documents filed Sept. 23 in the Erie County Clerk's office.

Local businessman and civic leader Gerald Verdi sold the house to Nesos Trust, according to the county clerk’s records.

Best-known as the Myron Bush House—Bush, a prominent Buffalo banking executive in the early 1900s—the Colonial Revival-styled two-story home has five bedrooms among its 5,467-square-foot.

Designed by the well-regarded Buffalo architectural firm of Lansing & Beiri, the house was one of three the firm designed for Bush family members along Lincoln Parkway—not far from Buffalo AKG Art Museum.

The house was one of several in the Delaware Park neighborhood that was showcased during a candlelight walk held in the 2011 National Trust for Historic Preservation convention held in Buffalo.
